Inhabitants of the savannah (besides the elephants): Reticulated giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata), Baringo giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rotschildi), common eland (Taurotragus oryx), scimitar-horned oryx (Oryx dammah), springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis), grey crowned crane (Balearica regulorum), Damara zebra (Equus quagga burchellii), western sitatunga (Tragelaphus spekii gratus), impala (Aepyceros melampus) & red lechwe (Kobus leche leche). Until last year, at least one ostrich (Struthio camelus australis) was also present, but I didn't see any during my most recent visit.
