It is not an exhibit, this is along the visitor path on the way from the Bush (rainforest) to the Savannah walkway, all on top of the night quarters for zebra & antelope.
I am thinking exactly the same, everytime I walk there. I think that this even may have been the original plan.
But I would still like to see this part changed into a walkthrough aviary with hyrax, some birds like roller, hoopoo, hornbill, woodland kingfisher and glossy starling.
