Barred buttonquail were also signed for this aviary, but I saw them in the adjacent estrildid finch aviary. So either the signage was misplaced, the buttonquail were recently moved or they have barred buttonquail in both exhibits.
They do (or did?) indeed keep buttonquails in both aviaries for a while. I suspect that the individuals in this aviary were offspring of the couple kept in the other enclosure.
