this is either a lesser mouse-deer (Tragulus kanchil) or Java Mouse-deer (Tragulus javanicus) These used to be kept along Tiger River on one of the smaller side exhibits

Does anyone know which species San Diego Zoo kept along Tiger River in the 90's/early 2000s??

The zoo listed them as T. j. ravus, which under current classification schemes it would be Tragulus kanchil.
