Omaha has what must surely be the best pinniped exhibit in North America. It made the Top 100 best exhibit list that recently concluded, and from photos it appears to have been a lock for a place. The superb underwater viewing, the size of the pool, the attention to detail with the rockwork and interpretative materials, all adds up to what is a spectacular experience. I can't wait to head back to Omaha one day to see it in person, as it opened after my last visit. Saint Louis, Houston and Fresno Chaffee have excellent pinniped habitats, but Omaha has taken things to the next level.
