Hell would probably describe it. It was the equivalent of a human living in a refrigerator box. It was fresh water so the seals eyes were cataracted over. Not good.
Japan - generally speaking , not the best of places to be any kind of ocean-dwelling mammal , whether wild-living or captive. If you are not actually eaten , you will probably end up with the quality of life of the poor unfortunate pictured here.
