Seals at Cricket St. Thomas, 4 June 1983

Do you remember where in the zoo these were located? I didn't know they ever kept common seals.

My husband seems to think they were in a man-made lake (but it was a long time ago, so please don't take his word for it )

They certainly held a group of Patagonian Sea Lions in the river, which is a small river dammed into a series of lakes, but from the photo this looks like a concrete pool. I know they had Penguins throughout the 80s and some of the 90s so maybe the seal were housed in the top section before penguins arrived.
