The exhibit does have some nice rock work, but both snow leopard exhibits were too small and too low, as well as lacking in structure and shelter (and thus too open as well). These exhibits look nice, but they leave something to be desired in terms of animal welfare and are thus perhaps not truly substandard, but definitely sub-optimal.
Definitely a sub-optimal enclosure, especially considering these exhibits are less than 10 years old. Kevin is spot on about the problems, which are the same for most of their big cat enclosures actually (Leopard and tigers definitively).
