Do note that this image was taken on September 24th, 2025 at the Oklahoma City Zoo in OKC, Oklahoma, USA.
From the accompanying signage:

(1) Fatal Charm

Ironically, the tremendous admiration people have for tigers may lead to their extinction in the wild.

In accordance with Asian folk medicine, many people believe that eating food prepared with tiger parts will transfer the tigers' powers to the eater, as well as prevent or cure diseases.

Economic growth in Asia is giving more people the means to buy rare and expensive preparations made from animals and, unfortunately, the tiger has many valuable parts.

(2) Tragic Drug Store

• Eat tiger meat to cure a snake bite

• Eat the heart to gain strength, courage and cunning

• Use whiskers as a charm against bullets

• Drink crushed bone in wine as a health tonic

• Burn hair to drive away centipedes

• Carry a tiger claw in your pocket to impart courage

• Mix gallstones with honey to treat abscesses on the hands and feet

• Carry ribs as a good luck charm

• Tie foot bones to a child's wrist to stop convulsions

• Wear tail-bone tips to ward off evil

• Grind up tail and mix with soap to treat skin disease

• Swallow eyeballs rolled into pills to control convulsions

• Mix brain with oil for a lotion to cure laziness and acne
