Formosan Sika Deer in their summer paddock (note the parched grass in this year of drought). I spent three days (August 9th to 11th) watching them, giving them names and making notes as I thought that was the sort of thing zoologists did. I also treated myself to some very nice slices of cream cake from the cafe - they were 14 pence each. I also nipped off for a swim in the sea on a couple of the days.
