I love this shot- surprised no one has commented on it already.

The Deers' eyes are obviously the lower set of light points. But what are the higher ones- is it shipping out at Sea?

You don't appreciate this shot unless you open the post and get a good look.
And it is terrific!

Thank-you both. I was a bit wary about taking this and two earlier photos (I used the fast action function in case an animal moved but they were fuzzy) lest the deer did not like the flash, but they did not seem bothered. The lights behind are from some of the bungalows on a road down to the clifftop, the sea is to the left of this view - I was heading back to the estate grounds having done my exercise routine of walking up and down the 147 steps to the beach a few times.

I am wishing I had taken a photograph of the remaining Guanaco that lived in the other half of this paddock as sadly it died on Monday aged twenty. Its mother died earlier this year. I think she was twenty-three or twenty-four.

A check this evening revealed the brighter lights to be street lights in front of the bungalows. Today I was hoping for a photograph with the lights along the coast as a background, but the deer were just out of the range of my small camera.
