I wonder if there are significant vibrations that reverberate through the tank? I think that the exhibit looks to be innovative, but I can just imagine a group of children running along the top and I am curious as to how the marine life are affected...
that was my exact issue also. Water acts like a solid regarding noise and vibrations transferral, and in this tank all of that from the passage of the visitors overhead would go straight through into the water (to make the view clear with no ripples, there is no gap between the water and the glass so it is a direct transfer).
