This is actually quite a nice little aquarium - albeit heavily themed (as you'd expect from a combination of theme park plus SeaLife Centre).
There are tropical touch ponds with pencil urchins and cleaner shrimps, several species of shark including the usual Blacktip Reefs and dogfish alongside Bonnetheads, a Zebra Shark and Zebra Horn Sharks, Cownose Rays, a few different species of seahorse and pipefish, horseshoe crabs and Japanese Giant Spider Crabs. Quite a decent diversion (though really not worht entrance fee alone - this is one for joint zoo/theme park fans!).
Apologies for image quality on some of these - they're phone photos (camera not considered safe at Alton Towers!).
And for what it's worth, Nemesis is still the best ride. :D
