Taken 11/2/20. Sharks! Predators of the Deep is new for 2020. It is a 20-foot-deep habitat that holds 1.2 million gallons and has 7 viewing areas. The opening shark species lineup includes 20 total specimens of four species: Great Hammerhead, Silvertip Shark, Sand Tiger Shark, and Tiger Shark.

@geomorph What is your opinion of the Georgia Aquarium's new shark exhibit? How does it compare to the shark exhibit at Shark Reef in Las Vegas?

What are your favorite shark exhibits that you have seen?

This is a very good exhibit, and can be seen from nearly all sides. I think I like Shark Reef better, with its sunken ship viewing area theming and tunnel. As far as favorite shark exhibits, they are all starting to blend together in my memory, but the standout is Ocean Explorer at Georgia Aquarium.
