Is the Grand Gallery Of Evolution in the zoo it self? Going in a couple of days, very excited to see it.

"Grande Galerie de l'Evolution" is the Paris Zoology Museum; it is not in the zoo but is a few minutes walk from the Jardin des Plantes Menagerie.

A visit is thoroughly recommended.

When you leave the menagerie walk to the greenhouse and turn left to go to the Grande Galerie. The hall of extinct animals is amazing and some of the mounted specimens are rotated. But be advised that the hall is dark and that flash photos are forbidden. The gift shop at Grand galerie is also nice.
