I bet it is too, and it would be a great display of their brachiating skills to see them swinging along the track. I would definitely like to see that.

It may be so, but many people in Japan prefer this kind of exhibit design rather than an imitation of the animal’s original habitat (by the way, I don’t). It may be because Japanese zoos usually do not have enough space – the only way to overcome this problem is to expand vertically.

And here I was going to say that it looked like a dry cleaner that had gone out of business! That is pretty nifty though, and I would love to see a siamang brachiating at top speed. Ours barely have any room at all in Frisco. Oakland's better, but not by much.
