The former male Indian gharial exhbit now houses siamese crocodiles,with the original inhabitant moving over to Sungei Buaya. The male siamese Croc can be seen on thr lower right of the image

Very nice to see them finally on display since their arrival in 2017! I thought both Siamese crocodiles in Mandai's collection were female though.

@Nadchew_ i understand both are female. One is larger than the other because of age difference. Both were found abandoned in Hong Kong and subsequently transferred to Singapore Zoo.

@Zooish Any idea whether zoo did DNA test, whether they could be hybrid?

@DannySG i don't know. I suppose the Hong Kong authorities would have done it as part of their investigations.

@DannySG, both have been genetically screened and confirmed to be pure C. siamensis.
