I wonder what sort of bird species are in a siberian aviary?

List of species - visit 2007, I missed probably some species without signs.

Black-breasted Trush (Turdus dissimilis)
Black-faced Bunting (Emberiza spodocephala sordida)
Rustic Bunting (Emberiza rustica rustica)
Siberian Waxwing (Bombycilla carrulus centralasiae)
Oriental Greenfinch (Carduelis sinica)
Long-tailed Rosefinch (Uragus sibiricus sibiricus)
Hazel Grouse (Bonasa bonasa)
European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis major)
Siberian Trush (Zoothera sibirica sibirica)
Red-throated Pipit (Anthus cervinus)
Orange-flanked Bush-robin (Tarsiger cyanurus)
Yellow-breasted Bunting (Emberiza aureola aureola)
Hoopoe (Upupa epops)
Great-spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos major pinetorum)

Now that's a nice list. I'll be at Pilsen in May - would be nice to find a similar mix in there still.

To this list I would add Omei Shan liocichla too, I saw a pair during my visit last year.

Jana it's amazing you still remember all these species! I was a keeper in this aviary after its opening in 2006. We were able to breed OrientalGreenfinch and Yellow-breasted Bunting in that year. In that time there was also Siberian Rubythroat (Luscinia calliope).

Thank you for the credit. However, I think I was just lucky enough to be in the right place in the right time and most importantly, work with the right people who have been fighting for the right case and doing great work years before I came to the Philippines.
