You invented it himself - Cervus canadensis kansuensis, or somewhere spied? And why not Cervus canadensis macneilli?

So did you identify this deer yourself or you have any information from the zoo? I agree with you regarding xanthopygus, but Cervus canadensis macneilli looks much similar...

Do Cervus canadensis macneilli caudal disc - white, orange in Cervus canadensis xanthopygus. Do Cervus canadensis kansuensis caudal disk yellow or cream.

Maybe you are right, I compared the pictures of Red deer in Gansu, they caudal disk yellow.
