So clearly this zoo which to my knowledge is not under the AZA has the money and resource to construct an enclosure for Takin. And by the looks, a rather spacious one. Which is cool, I guess...
Though I don't understand why it is they couldn't sculpture the enclosure to make it slightly more interesting for the animals inside? It doesn't take long from either book reference or internet to find that takin are fond of rugged terain! And I imagine that rugged terrain is more interesting to them then a small pile of rocks...
