It will link through to the rainforest section when finished, which has tarantulas, spider monkeys, agouti, and golden lion tamarins. Across from this are the Galapagos Tortoises and macaws. So I'm guessing this area will be the "South American Precinct", as it has all the South American species the zoo holds (I think). It also has the bonnet macaques (phase out) and a pair of siamangs, but hopefully, and this is just my fantasy, they will move these out of there, and put brazilian tapir/capuchin in the siamang enclosure, and mesh over the macaque exhibit and add birds (amazons, toucans?) and capybara. Also the original cotton-top tamarin exhibit in the rainforest, currently disused, could have pygmy or common marmosets in it. I reckon that would be pretty awesome.
