My last visit was 10 years ago. Obviously I was saddened to see all the empty exhibits and the number of species that had disappeared !! My pictures represent the entire park, + you can add an emus exhibit.
Several small works had been started but nothing concrete for the development of the park. The Amazon Greenhouse is closed, empty and almost abandoned.
I have seen the disappearance of the following species : sable antelope, nyalas, bongos, lesser kudu, blesbok, ostriches, Sichuan takins, hog deer, Vietnamese deer, scimitar oryx, barbary sheep, African wild dogs, caracals, Syrian brown bears, a lot of lemurs and all the animals of the Greenhouse !
Two good news anyway : the birth this year of a white rhino and a southern cassowary !
