If I remember correctly, this sign was up when I visited Fota 2 years previously. There was still some construction works outside, though I remember seeing the tapirs in their new indoor area, the aviary for the macaws looked complete (though I saw nothing inside other than two ducks of some sort) and there was also at least one Darwin's rhea outside.
