Trust me, with Coca-Cola and McDonalds in the world you really have no need to worry on that front...
When I was in Nepal some years ago we had a 3-day trek back from the village we'd been visiting to Taplejung to get the bus back to Kathmandu. This was a much shorter time than we'd done the equivalent trek outwards and the middle day was very long and hot. Middle of nowhere there's a little shack by the side of the path down a wide valley. We're told we'll be stopping there and I'm glad of the rest but not enthused by the thought of having to put back another cup of tea (not a hot drinks fan). As we approach, tired, hot and thirsty, it becomes obvious that there is a large metal bucket full of ice and proper glass bottles of Coca-Cola.
Part of me wanted to be appalled by the ever-present brand's capitalist fingers invading the wilderness but to be honest I was so glad to see that Coke after days of just water and tea I could have drunk the lot.
Did feel a bit like being in a living advert though...
