The cat breeding center opened in 2010 with exhibits for ocelots, fishing cats, caracals, and Gordon's wildcats. All of these lived in too small exhibits, but a few years ago the caracals and wildcats moved out which made it possible to combine the four exhibits into two much more appropriate exhibits for ocelots and fishing cats.
