Looks to me to be a Berber skink, used to have these in the reptile shop I volunteered in.

I would also say Berber skink, here also quite common in the pet-trade.

This is Schneider's Skink, Eumeces schneideri, NOT Eumeces algeriensis, the real Barbary skink. The common name is often confused, mainly caused by pet trade,......

I thought Berber was just another name for Schneider's Skink?

hmm,...that "Berber"became a kind of "secondary synonym" due to overuse.
but it still the trivial name of algeriensis. which was once a supspecies of schneideri,....
