I agree with you on that one. It's a beautiful exhibit that is hard to appreciate. Plus I don't like how empty an exhibit that big is. It's time to pawn the baboons off on another zoo and get a replacement species. I would still love to see that exhibit converted for African Wild Dogs. It would be a great one for them.
African Wild dogs in the exhibit would be amazing. Although, the downfall is that I don't know if they can really improve on viewing without tearing down most, if not all, of the surrounding red rock walls.
In my point of view, no point getting a new animal for that exhibit without improving viewing opportunities, especially from a photographer point of view.
