What species are held in here? And also, have they always been small carnivore exhibits? They look quite old and I'm guessing they possibly held larger species at one time.
 
Lynx, caracal, ring-tailed coati, large hairy armadillo and indian crested porcupine. In bigger cage solitary striped hyaena. Only coatis forming breeding group.
Yes, these cages are rather old, from sixties I presume. If I good remember the biggest animal living there was puma, but also packs of wolves and dingos.

I thought that they may have held bigger species at one point, those bars and cages look far too big and heavy duty for small carnivores!
