California doesn't have any great snow leopard exhibits that I have seen. The San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, LA, and Santa Barbara exhibits are all medium sized and perhaps considered adequate, but certainly not wonderful. The LA exhibit is attractive, but horizontal. The Sacramento exhibit has a vertical component.
Are there any great snow leopard exhibits in the zoo world? What are the components of a great snow leopard exhibit?
The Bronx Zoo does have a nice looking exhibit, but I don't really see any vertical components in the exhibit. Does having nice foliage and no rocky outcrops (just going by what I see in the photo) for a cat normally found in areas in the wild without a single tree and lots of rocks really make it great?
