On my one visit to the LA Zoo in 2007 the cubs were really active, and were rolling pumpkins around their enclosure! Actually the Los Angeles Zoo snow leopard exhibit is pretty decent, and if I recall correctly they have a grassy area with a stream and massive boulders to climb on or hide behind.
