I had an incredible time watching two Snowflake Moray Eels engaging in some sort of courtship display at rockpools in the Sunshine Coast. I spent the entire day waiting for the tide to slowly go down and find that 'sweet spot' when the fish were just starting to move back into the ocean as pools formed. In total I saw about five (possibly six) morays actively moving from rocky crevice to crevice further out and out. These two were the exception and spent half an hour out in the open engaging in this transfixing entwining display.
