Somali wild ass (Equus africanus somaliensis)

How did an this obscure facility obtain species like African Wild Dogs and Wild Asses? Any other rarities?

I have no clue. They also have two rhino species!

This is their whole species list:
Giraffe, Somali wild ass, Camel, Indian rhino, Lion, Tiger, Painted dog, Fallow deer, Scimitar oryx, Plains zebra, Blue wildebeest, Addax, Nilgai, Common eland, White rhino, Greater Rhea, Common ostrich, Southern Cassowary

Nothing else too crazy, but Indian rhino stands out to me as odd for a private safari.
