This area was connected to the zebra/Ankole/Blackbuck paddock in 2018. Five rescued water buffaloes were already at the park, they were housed in a quarantine barn and paddock viewable to the public. A recent video on Zonnegloed's facebook page showed the buffaloes in this paddock, with a full pool.
