Southern Ethiopian wolf or Simien jackal (Canis simensis citernii)

The crowned jewel of this trip! After 9 hours of searching over 2 different days, we finally saw this gorgeous animal just before the sun started to set. My favorite and most satisfying sighting of my entire month in Africa!

I would say it is the Ethiopian Wolf because google says the Jackal is a subspecies of the wolf.

@Liam Graff Simian Jackal is just another name for Ethiopian Wolf, not a different subspecies.
