Southern Swamp exhibit - Arthropods - Promedica Museum of Natural History - Toledo Zoo and Aquarium

Contains: Banana Spider (Nephila clavipes), Sunburst Diving Beetle (Thermonectus marmoratus), Red Swamp Crayfish (Procambarus clarkii), Water Strider (Aquarius reinus), and unidentified giant water bug.

Apparently the only food added here is flying insects. The spiders at the top of the tank eat them. The spider's scraps fall into the water below, where the aquatic inverts eat it.

This tank setup is pretty typical of the invert tanks here. Very large and tall, often with mixed species.
