Imported as a trio from South Africa alongside Zambezi (1992) and Caballe (1995), Moesha initially failed to breed. Zambezi was exchanged for Kruger and Moesha welcomed Kifaru in 2009; and Jamila in 2012. Her calves now live at Werribee and Auckland respectively and have since produced offspring of their own - Jamila ironically expecting her third calf with Zambezi.
