Giant Eland

Species ID please?

Taken off the coast of Punta Arenas, Chile

I'm not a bird guy. I'm sure I could use google to try to identify the species, but hey, it's more fun to have the zoochat community help me out!
Interesting - I considered that, but ruled it out on account of the fact these photographs do not display the yellow-orange nasal knob nor blue eyes of Imperial Shag.
 
@TeaLovingDave Juvenile Imperial shags don't have either the yellow or the blue. The only alternative in the region could be Rock cormorant, but they are clearly red in the face...
