Speckled Pigeon

A large flock of these shares the lemur exhibit with red ruffed lemurs and ring-tailed lemurs. They’re signed as “Triangular Spotted Pigeon”
I grew up (in the 1980s) calling them Triangular-spotted Pigeons (Columba guinea). I'm not sure when the common named changed to Speckled Pigeon, but they will always be Triangular-spotted Pigeons to me because the name is much cooler!
