Still awaiting some breeding success from this pair of Bears.
No Spectacled Bear cubs have been born in a UK zoo now for many years- the last would have been either Belfast or Jersey but at least a decade ago, if not much more.
A successful breeding would be very good for the zoo. After seeing cubs in Berlin last year I'm sure they would attract just as many visitors as the cheetah and tiger cubs did. They were very playful, entertaining and cute.
