Spider Monkey enclosure

February 2022
Formerly this area was divided, with the spider monkeys confined to the far side with the big tree, and the near-most area being for capuchins. The latter have recently been moved to a smaller fully-enclosed cage and the spider monkeys have been given the run of the entire island.

@Jambo no it is one island. There just used to be a low fence across it to divide the capuchins and spider monkeys. So they have simply removed the fence and added extra ropes. The area is really big - it goes to the right to the other side of that big tree, and waaaay over past the left side of the photo, and of course stretches further to the back as well. There would be no way to get the entire island in one shot.
