I'm sure this actually has less usable space then the often-criticised Welsh Mountain Zoo spider monkey exhibit if you work it out. The climbing here is more-or-less 2-D.
I wouldn't say this is a"bizarre" exhibit. It has a good size for the spider monkeys, many climbing oppurtunties , a lot of sunlight, and the animals are good visable to the visitors.
A well done exhibit for spider monkeys. One of jus a few good exhibit at Stuttgarts Concrete Zoo Wilhelma.
I take it that you are being sarcastic (if only there was a font for that). Apart from the concrete comment. I think only Madrid comes close to Stuttgart in terms of multiple large cubes of ugly bare concrete.
