Same space used to be an asian small-clawed otter exhibit, but it was redone before the african spot-necked otters moved in. More naturalistic, with a hollow log (on left) with a waterslide built in. The chain link around visitor area was replaced with the wood and rope railing seen here.
Our docent animal sheet says this otter pair is wild-caught, but I don't know any details of how we got them.
