Spot the macaw.

2010, Brazilian Amazon. Sometimes even I can\'t find it.

the macaw's name isn't Waldo is it? I can't see it at all!

Neither can I - I can't see any form of animal life in that shot!

I'm assuming it's a Military or similar (coz I can't see any red or yellow) and that it's roughly centre frame?

Found it. Hix, it is in fact what appears to be a Scarlet Macaw, I only managed to find it after further investigating.

I reckon it's a green-winged macaw, myself.

It is a green-winged macaw, and it's not far from the centre of the photo.

And you can make out some tailfeathers... I guess. If that what I think is the bird IS the bird

It's about time I tried to describe its location properly:

The first thing to say is that it's towards the back of the trees, so expect lots of leaves in front of it. If you look at the centre of the cluster of trees which stick above the main canopy and then look a little bit left and down, you should see a few red and blue feathers, and then make out the macaw.


This photo was taken from the river with full zoom. Our guide pointed it out by photographing it with my camera, then zooming in fully. Once I looked away, I'd lose it again.
