I am not proud of this photo - you can see that I got too close (because there was no stand-off barrier), and that the animal is not happy about it. In my defence the previous photos in my camera show a resting animal who suddenly sprang up and then I withdrew.
I chose to upload it because it shows the body of this animal in a way that 'lying down shots' don't, and given the paucity of linsang photos in the gallery I thought that was worth either exposing myself or the site in general to criticism.
