@Summer Tanager this exhibit was empty when I visited in November a couple years ago, is the signage up to date? There were quite a few species signed for it at the time.
It's very difficult to tell what's in here. The turtle/tortoise exhibit is divided into three parts and the upper-most houses several non-native and tropical species like Indian Star Tortoises (Geochelone elegans) which are pulled inside for the winter. The other two exhibits within this complex house native U.S. turtles and I can confirm that Western Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta bellii), Southern Painted Turtle (Chrysemys dorsalis), Three-toed Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina triungulus), Ouachita Map Turtle (Graptemys ouachitensis), Spotted Turtle (Clemmys guttata) and Eastern Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) are present based upon what I've seen during the past 18 months. The exhibit has signs for Diamondback Terrapin (Malaclemys terrapin), Blanding's Turtle (Emydoidea blandingii), Wood Turtle (Glyptemys insculpa), and Spiny Softshell (Apalone spinifera) but I've not seen them myself in the exhibit. There is a fourth enclosure next to the building where I've seen either Blanding's Turtles or Wood Turtles before, but I think they are brought indoors for the winter (even though they are cold-hardy). I believe that the zoo has both Blanding's Turtle and Wood Turtle in their collection, but not in the turtle/wetlands exhibit. I'll try to pay closer attention this year!
