Beautiful photo! I don't know my tortoises well, so please don't take my comment too seriously. Was this signed as a spur-thighed tortoise (and I know that there are several species that go by that name). This looks a lot like a Leopard Tortoise (Testudo pardalis), which might be one of the species in the spur-thighed tortoise group because they're all African. But again, I don't profess to be a herpetologist. Thanks
