Is that a walk through enclosure?

Yes, it is. It was quite a new enclosure when I visited in 2007. The monkeys had a decent sized outdoor area as well as an indoor house in the corner of the enclosure.

Blackpool have a good walk through squirrel monkey enclosure aswell, which is quite new.

I haven't seen that. I haven't been to Blackpool for a few years. The walk-through lemur enclosure was quite new when I last went there.

I was quite impressed with the lemur enclosure, vary spacious.

I agree. At the time, I had not been in many walk-through enclosures, but I still felt that Blackpool's was very spacious for the lemurs. The one at Monkey World is large, as well.

Not been there, but do plan to visit some time, just love gibbons ( and they have to young gibbons with a third on the way)

Monkey World has very large enclosures, especially for the chimps and orangs. It has really grown in the last 10 years. Thank goodness for people like Jim (RIP) and Alison Cronin, otherwise who knows what would happen to all those animals?
