... I thought I'd post this photo of the male "Colombo" (17 yrs)*, looking pretty relaxed after he'd climbed up and balanced himself on the edge of his nest platform, steadying himself with those long front claws hooked into the ceiling mesh, while he looked out for approaching keepers (I assume).
* the identity of this individual was later confirmed by one of the keepers, in case you were wondering!
