I can remember when Paradise Park first received this species( two males) in the early 1970's. It seems sad if they now have only one(?) or even none.

My pleasure vogelcommando. It was your thread on St Vincent Amazons that reminded me I had not posted any photographs from my visit to Paradise Park in 2013.

I must get to Hayle to have a go, I have only a few old photos from Jersey many years ago. The problem is that the white on the head makes this splendid species quite difficult to photograph: the sort of subject that gets photographers fiddling with their controls and chimping furiously.

Must have myself some pictures of the Walsrode-birds at the end of the 1980-ties. Will have a look if I can find them.
