Stilt X Avocet hybrid

Picture taken at Santillana del Mar Zoo (Spain). Not sure if is a Stilt with a deformed beak, or a Stilt-Avocet hybrid. The park keeps both species, in separate but bordering walk-through aviaries (also, maye they kept them together in the past). Any idea about what this bird is? Thanks!

Don't know if this is a hybrid - I have never seen one - but they are known and even have a name "stavocet and avistilt ".
San Fransisco Zoo bred one ( American avocet x black-necked stilt ) in 1971 and this was raised to adulthood.

Thank you both! I looked for pictures of hybrids on google and I found very few to compare, but if are so common as to have their own name, then I´m pretty sure this one is an hybrid too. I was confused because te only "avocet part" seemed to be the beak, but didn´t looks like a deformation either to me. Cool, I didn´t even know these hybrids existed

Doesn't Naturzoo Rheine have stilt-avocet hybrids as well? I believe they did when I visited a couple of years ago. They looked like avocets but with a stilt head and bill.

Edit: Vogelcommando posted this picture of the bird I mean in the Rheine gallery:http://www.zoochat.com/137/european-avocet-445797/

Thank you korhoen, didn't realize even that this was a hybrid ! Looked to me as being a Avocet with quite a straith bill but by looking closer now I can see it's not a 'normal' Avocet !
